Booking Conditions

Each contract is between the Owner and the Client and is made at the point at which a Booking Confirmation is issued either by post,fax or e-mail.

Booking the Holiday

Provisional Bookings may be made by telephone and must be followed up by a completed Booking Form with a deposit or full payment (as appropriate) to arrive within five working days.

Bookings will only be accepted on the correct Booking Form.

Bookings are not confirmed until a Booking Confirmation is issued and posted/emailed/faxed to the Client.

Deposits and Payment

A deposit of 20% of the holiday cost is required for each week of a proposed booking and until this deposit is received, the reservation is classed as provisional only and may be amended or cancelled without prior notice. Please make cheques payable to "Crickhowell Cottages" , their receipt will be acknowledged by telephone.

Upon receipt of the balance we will send you a receipt, a location map and route directions.

The balance is due 8 weeks before the first day of the planned holiday. A reminder will be issued and the balance must be paid by the due date as we reserve the right to re-let the cottage in the event of it not being paid. Booking made 8 weeks or less before the start of your holiday are payable in full at the time of booking. In this event please pay by credit card or debit card over the telephone.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation by the client the following cancellation charges will apply.

YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT HOLIDAY INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING TO PROVIDE COVER TO THE POSSIBILITY OF CANCELLATION.

In the event of cancellation by the Owners, (e.g. due to fire or similar occurrence) a full refund of all monies paid to us by the client will be made. Clients will have no further claim against the Owners. The Owners will endeavour to find alternative, similar accommodation with another accommodation provider in these circumstances.

A returnable credit card slip will be taken on arrival to which breakages, damage, or extra cleaning may be charged if necessary.

Hints & Tips

There is no charge for bringing your dog on holiday with you but there are one or two rules:

Please do not leave your dog alone in the cottage, or allow it upstairs and on the furniture. Please bear in mind that you are responsible for any damage caused by your pet. if excessive cleaning is required due to pet hair on upstairs carpets or furniture this will be charged.

Please telephone (01873 811452 / 07970 112902) before submitting form to check availability. It may be an idea to have some alternative dates to hand in case we have had a booking since updating the Availability page.

Do not forget to ring a day or two prior to your arrival in case there are any changes to your arrival time.
